election in the near future. its kind of disenchanting, as millions will be squandered by the main corporatist parties to re-elect themselves back into office somehow. even if there is a party change, their policies in action will remain largely the same for most important issues(ie not the gst). Such as, continuing to support terrorism in places like haiti, or supporting companies like glamis gold. or not providing the 0.7% of gnp for aids in africa(which was promised by all g8 countries many years ago). canada and the usa are still holding out. false promises and endless hypocrisy. meh.
i am reminded of a lyric in a well known song that rings true today..

"Well, if you’re dumb enough to vote,You’re fuckin dumb enough to believe him."
