review #1

the draft. i was hesitant at first, since the last few albums hot water music put out were hunks of crap. (after they signed to epitaph...)

but, low and behold, in a million pieces is a damn solid record, start to finish. straight-ahead, great bass lines, and some beebout-esq soaring vocals. the production is on the quiet side, but it definately suits the songs. so check it out, yo.

I remember seeing them here at the republik, almost getting frostbite(it was -30) since the bar made us wait outside prior to the show. But it was well worth it..they opened with "this place sucks"..and i couldnt disagree..
