ok, i did happen to run in to one picture from a recent halos show..ripped off from time-wasting central..myspace..

rock weekend

this past weekend, i caught propaghandi and the black halos. both were awesome. especially propaghandi; their passion for good music and social and economic justice is amazing. about 900 odd people there, it was full up. i dont think the punker kids liked the new material that much, but i sure did! Their poignant comments on; fascism and corporate rule, canada and haiti/timor/afghanistan, and the usual wicked dry humor, were all bang on!

Black halos was rather low key, not much promo, but a solid show i thought. place(underground) was at least half empty, but very clean, post-renovations.. it was cool to see john from mico on guitar. hes a nice guy.
They are coming back in april with social D, which should be fun. priestess is also playing in april. rock.
